FJ45 SWB Pickup

I thought I would never sell my FJ45, but here we go… I did a complete rebuild on this little gem. We started the project over five years ago. The FJ45 was hauled out of the mountains and completely torn down, sandblasted, rust removed, frame galvanized and rebuilt from the ground up. All body parts were sandblasted, epoxy primed, repaired and painted before reassembly. Axels from a 1978 were rebuilt and installed with new springs, shackles and shocks under the gallivanted and painted frame (yes, it has disk breaks in the front). The bed was restored to original factory condition with new steel and coated with bed inner on the underside and inside the bed. New body mounts were used to attach the cab and body to the frame. We rebuilt a 2F engine from a 1984 FJ60 out of Saudi Arabia (no emissions issues) with a non US carburetor and but a 4 speed transmission and transfer case from a 1983 FJ40 behind it. I substituted a 1978 windshield to allow us to use a better wiper option. Power Steering was also added for a nice smooth ride.
